Around the World Cycling Challenge Sit Rep

No rain. No sunburn. No potholes. No stoplights.  Just fun!

Today was an easy 45 minutes in the velodrome to get back into shape after being off the bike for two weeks.

I’m super fortunate because I live on the westside of Los Angeles, just 20 minutes from the Velo Sports Center at the Stub Hub Center in Carson, California. The Velo Sports Center is the only indoor, 250 meter, world-class velodrome in the United States. 250 meters of Siberian pine and absolutely smooth.

Today added another 15.5 miles to my second trip around the world.

Check out the Velo Sports Center at this link: Velo Sports Center.

Learn about the Los Angeles Velodrome Racing Association here: LAVRA.

Join me on my second cycling trip around the world here: Robert Hess on Strava.com.

And check out the very cool jersey could can be wearing if you complete the Around the World Cycling Challenge – Around the World Cycling Challenge Jersey.
